Terry Taney, Business Manager

Terry (she/her) enjoyed a long and successful career in the travel business and was able to experience all seven continents. Terry was eventually bitten by the non-profit bug! She’s utilized her organizational skills and event planning experience to help a number of non-profits in Tompkins, Schuyler, and Seneca Counties. Terry lived in Seneca Falls as a child; her love for the town plus a passion for the mission of the National Women’s Hall of Fame made her perfect for a job that opened in early 2021. A year later, Terry was promoted to Business Manager, a position reflects her work as the “glue” that holds the organization together. On any given day, you can find Terry in the back of the museum, at the bank, at the post office, or performing any number of duties that keeps the Hall operating.Terry lives in Burdett with her blind chihuahua, Chico. In her spare time, you will find her volunteering at the fundraisers for the local firehouse or planning the next Alumni weekend for her alma mater, Romulus Central School.

Nellie Ludemann, Museum & Community Relations Manager

Nellie (she/her) joined the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2024 and most recently served as Executive Director of the Seneca Falls Historical Society. Nellie’s professional experience also includes work with the Holland Land Office Museum, the Buffalo History Museum, the Albany Institute of History and Art, the Emily Knapp Museum and the Howland Stone Store Museum. Nellie holds master’s degrees in museum studies and curriculum and instruction. Her undergraduate work focused on communication and anthropology. Nellie offers a wealth of knowledge about Seneca Falls and the women’s rights movement; she also recently embarked on a fascinating oral history project to collect the stories of women who worked at the Seneca Knitting Mill.
