Convention Days & ERA Centennial Celebration

Each year, the Town of Seneca Falls hosts a weekend celebration commemorating the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention. 2023 is the 175th anniversary of the convention as well as the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). To commemorate these historic anniversaries, multiple organizations are coming together to host a 3-day weekend of events from Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23.
Organizations involved:
Central New York NOW, Eleanor’s Legacy, Equal Rights Action, National Women’s Hall of Fame, NYPENN Girl Scouts, Rochester New York NOW, Seneca Falls Convention Days Committee, Seneca Falls Historical Society, University of Rochester, Women Institute for Leadership and Learning, Women March in Seneca Falls, and Women’s Rights National Historical Park.
The National Women’s Hall of Fame will be hosting an outdoor celebration at 5pm on Saturday, July 22nd which will include live music, food, and women’s organization vendors in our parking lot, 1 Canal St.
