Not-for-profit Road Scholar has been providing educational programming to older adults since 1975 and has continued to do so even in light of a global pandemic. Beginning in March 2020, Road Scholar launched its “Virtual Lecture Series,” providing adults with much-needed intellectual stimulation accessible from home during these times of isolation. Now, almost a year later, Road Scholar has presented more than 70 Virtual Lectures featuring renowned educators around the world, with thousands of lifelong learners tuning in.
